To Sell Is Human: The Surprising Truth About Moving Others by Daniel H. Pink
This is one of my favorite books about sales. Why? Because it talks about the yuck factor long associated with the word "sell" and its euphemisms. There are tons of books, some terrific, on how to sell, but Pink gets to the heart of the matter about why it's hard for many (sleazy, rejection, etc.).
